THE CLEANING PROCESS
The Deep Eddy Carpet Cleaning process is based on spot and soil removal, using only a mild detergent and a thorough clean hot water extraction. Our trained technicians, who each have over ten years experience, work on stubborn spots individually to ensure your carpet receives the attention necessary.
Our technicians start each job with a walk through inspection with the home owner making notes of any areas of concern or areas that may require special attention. The technician then begins the cleaning: the first step consists of shampooing or pre-spraying all open areas of the carpet. Shampooing loosens and suspends the soiling, allowing the technician to rinse the carpet with a clean hot water extraction. Some areas may require a second cleaning which will be done at this time. Properly cleaned carpet shall NOT have any residue left behind that can cause re-soiling. Once the carpet is cleaned the technician can apply 3M Scotchgard™. This protectant will help to prevent spills and dirt from absorbing as quickly into the carpet. 3M Scotchgard™ is a water based product that is safe for your children and pets and it does not change the color or texture of your carpet.
