Deep Eddy has been taking care of Austin's fine furnishings for over 50 years. Our technicians are trained to recognize and properly care for virtually every fabric produced. Deep Eddy can properly and safely clean even the finest of fabrics including silks and velvets.
Deep Eddy offers both in house and in plant upholstery cleaning to fit your needs. If you do bring in your upholstery please do NOT remove the fabric from the cushion. Without the cushion there is a greater risk of shrinkage. Every piece of furniture, cushion, and fabric is inspected for any areas of concern and to determine the best cleaning method.
The most common method of cleaning upholstery is hot water extraction. Our technician will thoroughly vacuum all areas of the upholstery to remove as much animal hair and dry particulate material as possible. The next step is to gently agitate the fabric with a cleaning solution to loosen the soiling. Next, the technician uses a specially designed upholstery hot water extraction tool to gently lift away the soiling. Depending on your specific type of fabric this type of cleaning may not be the best for your piece. If that is the case Deep Eddy can use a dry-cleaning method to care for your fine furnishings.
After your upholstery is cleaned Deep Eddy can protect your fine furnishings with 3M Scotchgard™ stain protectant. Applying this protectant to your upholstery will help to prevent spills and dirt from absorbing into the fabric as quickly. 3M Scotchgard™ will not change the color or texture of your upholstery and is perfectly safe around your pets and children. This simple step can help to keep your fine furnishings looking great for years to come.

TILE & GROUT
Tile is often in some of the most used areas of our homes including kitchens, bathrooms, and showers. Using our truck mounted hot water extraction tools we can thoroughly clean and revitalize all of these areas.
As with any type of service work the most important step is the pre-inspection. At this time our technician will look at all the areas being cleaned and discuss any problem areas or concerns that you the customer may have. Deep Eddy usually sends two technicians to our tile jobs so that we can safely move your furniture. Once the tile is dried we move everything back into its place. Deep Eddy uses a safe, specially formulated Tile and Grout Cleaner to thoroughly scrub your tile. We even use a special grout brush to get into those hard to reach places. Using a specially designed tool hot water is sprayed onto the tile and then immediately vacuumed back into the van. The high pressure hot water forces dirt and grime out of even the most textured of tile and grout. While the tile is left virtually dry we use high velocity air movers to quickly dry out your floor. There is no mopping process that just pushes around the dirty water.
After the tile is cleaned a formulated grout sealant can be applied to protect the grout. This sealant will penetrate the surface of the grout to help prevent spills from absorbing into the floor and causing discoloration. The sealant is water based so it is safe for use around pets and children.
